She has started her career in the pharmaceutical industry and gained experience in the areas of medical affairs, drug safety, pricing, market access and health economics and assumed different roles in GSK, Novartis and Roche Turkey. Nilhan has been assigned to an international job rotation at Roche Italy to conduct health technology assessment and health outcomes research.
Between 2017 and 2022, Nilhan has worked for the International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP) as the lead for pharmacy education and primary health care policies where she led FIP’s global strategy on pharmacy education and primary health care policies and delivered global research, publications and policies on digital health, gender equity, pharmacy education, primary health care policies, sports pharmacy and vaccination.
Nilhan is a sports pharmacist in training – pursuing her Master’s degree in Sports Pharmacy at Gazi University (Turkey). She is currently a student at the IOC Drugs in Sport certification program. She provides clinical consultancy to athletes of all levels and teams to optimize athletic health, performance and protect clean sports.
